Julia Schechter, MSW, LICSW is a multilingual LICSW with 15+ years of experience in trauma-informed care, mental health program development, and higher education.
Julia specializes in working with adults healing from PTSD, depression, anxiety, and substance use disorders. Her multi-disciplinary approach integrates trauma-informed care, attachment theory, and harm reduction, helping clients improve emotional regulation, healthy practices, and meaningful connection in their lives.
In addition to her clinical work, she is a part-time faculty member at the Boston College Graduate School of Social Work and an adjunct instructor at the Simmons University School of Social Work, where she teaches core social work courses and mentors MSW students.
